Where there’s a great market there are also great shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs! Timeout Love London Awards wants to know about all the local places you love. This is your chance to champion the independent market places that you want everyone to know about. You have one more week to vote.

When you visit a market in London you also get excited about all of the unique shops, cafes and places that you can also visit on the day. Markets and market areas are home to some of London’s most amazing and  unique places.

There are so many fabulous markets to get you thinking about the places you love. Over in  Brixton Market  for example, we love Las Americas and Okan in Brixton Village. This summer we also loved the Spitafields Farm Summer Market and Cafe. In Hackney where do we start? In Hoxton we love picking up a loaf at the Hoxton Bakery. Where is your favourite bike shop? We love Full City Cycles on Leather Lane Market. London has some of the best vintage shops in the world and London’s Markets are home to many of them. We always love a visit to Thea’s Vintage on Chatsworth Road, oh and you can’t resist a crepe at Crepe Du Monde. Columbia Road Flower Market is home to many fantastic independent shops. Into making beautiful things? Head to Beyond Fabrics and Queenie and Ted to buy some great upcycled clothing.
