Bermondsey Antique Market has a wide range of antiques from cutlery to furniture, china to jewellery. Every Friday morning at Bermondsey Square.
Many of the traders have been at the market for years and have a good knowledge base. The market has a international reputation and is visited by antiques enthusiasts from within the UK and visitors on holiday here.
The market is based at the Long Lane – Tower Bridge Road junction.

Deptford Heritage Festival is a brand new 4 day festival of music, market stalls, performance and community interaction celebrating the diverse heritage of a much loved area.
Over the first May Bank Holiday Weekend (1st – 4th May). Deptford Heritage Festival will be a packed schedule of events and a bustling festival atmosphere to enjoy.
There will be 9 stage areas covering Classical music, world music, jazz and blues, plus spoken word and performance arts.
There will also be a food festival reflecting the 127 cultural groups that call this part of London home.
Alternative Health and Lifestyle stalls.
Literature from the History of London’s Docks to Christopher Marlowe, who is buried in Deptford. Robert Browning , Kath Duncan
The Festival will finish with “Deptford does Abba” In which we create the wedding set from Mamma Mia and festival goers will be encouraged to dress up in their best 70’s gear and join celebrities singing their favourite ABBA songs as Fireworks bring the festival to a close with Deptford becoming one giant community choir singing “Thank you for the Music

The Brewers’ Market at Startisans launches on Friday March 6. It’s a weekly market running in the evening from 5-9pm. It’s a great place to explore and sample new wines, beers and spirits from some of London’s great upcoming breweries including Anspach and Hobday, Gipsy Hill Brewery, Canopy, the London Beer Factory as well as more established breweries such as 5points and fourpure.
A great way to clock-off work on Friday, Startisans is located on Shelton Street just off Neale Street.
