Haus of Artisans

Haus of Artisans is a design collective that brings together artisans from ethnic communities and contemporary designers in collaboration. The impulse to make and to create things with our own hands is an ancient and universal affair. Accordingly, as an ethical brand, the preservation and promotion of traditional craftmanship is paramount.

In a climate of mass production and environmental degradation, Haus of Artisans channels our love of jewellery and textiles towards the production of more meaningful pieces. The cultural history and spirituality behind traditional crafts is something that needs to be kept alive. We aim to do this through the championing and nurturing of artisans, whilst helping them to develop a modern aesthetic. In this way we harness the positive aspects of globalization, connecting people through creativity and craftsmanship.
