The first ever Deptford Heritage Festival takes places this May Day Bank Holiday. It’s a 4 day affair of music, arts, performance, community and markets! Deptford Heritage Festival will be a packed schedule of events that reflect Deptford’s cultural diversity. The Food Festival will represent all 127 different groups that live in Deptford. The Urban Village Fete
The next installment of good old fashioned fun, from Wayne Hemingway et al. Creators of The Vintage Festival and the brilliant Classic Car Boot Sale. The Urban Village Fete is a modern twist on your traditional fete, but still expect lots of banter and a tombola or two! It’s all about art & design, it will feature lots of stalls from London’s upcoming talent. We LOVE a car boot at I Love Markets so we’re seriously gagging to get out there an visit some of London’s much loved car boot sales. London does have some great car boot sales and if you’ve got a shrewd eye, you can grab yourself some serious bargains. Early birds of course reap the rewards, so lay off the booze the night before if you want to strike lucky. Here’s a few car boot sales in London that we love.

Queensmead Giant Car Boot Sale. It’s big, it’s so big! You need to set aside a few hours for Queensmead Giant Car boot Sale. We couldn’t make it all the way around when we visited.
Capital Car Boot Pimlico, It’s cool, it’s sassy, it’s London’s favourite Capital Car Boot Pimlico
Chiswick Car Boot Sale, held monthly at Chiswick School we love the excellent quality of the stalls and products on sale here. Great for bric a brac and antiques.
