Nomad Design was founded by Georgie Olley in 2014 as a platform to document all that was wonderful, luxurious and real in the design world. The company evolved from her passion for textiles and design, combined with a longterm exploration into the benefits of wellbeing, mindfulness and yoga. Exposure to the wonders of artisan making and involvement in handcrafts broadened her knowledge of making and was the catalyst to start carving a niche in the design world.
Nomad Design fiercely believes and promotes working with our hands and the grounding it can bring to today’s manic minds, in the longevity and simple function of a well designed product and in representing the beauty of artisan trades.
Dedication to practising yoga, healthily eating and positivity in all dimensions of life are transformative and fulfilling. Nomad Design believes that using ethical and sustainable sourced products like ours will only enhance that practise.
