Mother’s Ruin

Mother’s Ruin is a stall at Wood Street Market you’ll remember. I am a Cumbrian country woman washed up in the big smoke, trying to get by through making delicious and potent fruit liqueurs. Mother’s Ruin makes divine sloe and damson gins, a range of fruit vodkas and, at Christmas time, a dangerously drinkable Seville orange rum. Most of the fruit I use is home grown or locally foraged. I am a genuinely tiny producer making small seasonal batches. I have British Great Taste awards gold star which tells you just how very tasty my liqueurs are, and I sell through my shop, the East London Gin Palace in Wood St Market and online.
