KOMANA is designed and crafted by Swiss sisters Nina, a seamstress, and Livia, a print designer trained at Central St. Martins in London. We create fun and individual clothing for Women and Men and interiors.
Our fascination with Victorian oddities, tribal art and iconic painters get reworked into small collections and one off items with bold and unique prints that tell a story, whilst carefully choosing organic materials and ethical production ways for the canvas of our ideas.
Our luxuriously soft t-shirts are made of high quality organic cotton, bamboo or equally environmental friendly Tencel fabric, all produced under high fair trade standards. All pieces are then handprinted and painted with water-based ink by ourselves in our London studio.
A handful of playfully elegant women’s silk dresses and leather accessories complement the t-shirt range.
Our newest line of capes and printed silk tops are sewn by the lovely ladies at HEBA, a charity engaged in women’s right and education in East London.
We also produce adorable baby clothes from second hand cloth or waste fabric from the fashion industry. Please visit one of our markets to have a look.
